Silvia Ganora was born in Domodossola, Italy in 1963.

A self-taught artist, she has been a writer and photographer for a long time.

Some of her short stories were published on online and printed magazines.

Her <a href="http://photobloggingsil.my-expressions.com" target="_blank"> photoblog</a> which has been nationally and internationally reviewed and praised shows a wide range of photos, from macro to still-life, abstract and landscape.

Some of Silvia's photos get inspiration from American painter Edward Hopper's works, of whom she admires the use of shadows and light.
